    • TECHNICIAN – Test drove vehicle, inspected operation & found; No related concerns with drive ability. Vehicle drove well. – Inspected for dash/warning lights, found; Park assist unavailable. – Scanned computer control modules & found codes; CEM **B1B46-1C for right rear inner sensor, circuit voltage out of range **B1B48-29 left rear outer sensor, signal invalid **B1B50-1C left rear inner sensor, circuit voltage out of range – Tried to clear codes. Found codes **B1B46 and B1B50 returned right away. – Inspected & found; Park assist system equipped with 4 sensors. Found both outer sensors installed. Found both inner sensors were not plugged in/connected. Left rear inner sensor wire is pinched/sandwiched between bumper cover and new hitch (visible with small mirror). Attempted to connect non pinched disconnected sensors and found unable to do so without bumper removal, was able to get close to connecting but due to tight/awkward space was unable to make connection happen. – Determined / Suspect; Rear bumper will need to be removed. Disconnected sensors connected, possible replacement of pinched sensor may be necessary and possible programming of module may be necessary. – Recommends; Reattempting on own to install both inner sensors and/or taking to a body shop or dealer for this repair.

    • TECHNICIAN – Test drove vehicle, inspected operation & found; On cold start heard whirring type noise / L4. Vehicle drove well and shifted well. No pooling of coolant or fluids under vehicle. – Inspected for dash/warning lights, found; None. – Scanned computer control modules & found; No codes. – Inspected & found; Sound coming from belt drive area of engine. After test drive noticed burning smell / L4. Activated ac and found smell was worse. Found ac clutch slipping and skipping, making squelching noises / L2. Found idler pulley for serpentine belt making whirring noises. – Ac was blowing cold at times. When working well blowing cold to 47 degrees, found temp goes up to 77 degrees at times then back down to 47 degrees. – Determined / Suspect; Ac compressor failure along with related components. – Recommends; Replacing ac compressor, service valves, idler pulley, serpentine belt and charging system fully.

Recommend replacing both front headlamp assemblies. – Tire tread approximately 7/32. Dot code; 4716 indicating the tires are approximately 8 years old Recommend consulting with a tires shop due to age of tires. – Vehicle has rust on numerous components / L4. Rust can compromise components making them unsafe and/or more difficult to perform repairs.

    • Technician removed upper engine cover, air filter housing and lower engine cover to gain access. Removed and replaced ac compressor, serpentine belt, idler pulley and service valves. Performed ac service as outlined to fill system with freon. Added leak tracer dye. Test drove. Monitored for any additional leaks and found none. Verified ac blowing cold to 44 degrees. Verified repair.

Vehicle drove well. – Inspected for dash/warning lights, found; Check engine light on. – Scanned computer control modules & found; **P0138 for heater 02 sensor 2 bank 1 **P0037 for heater 02 sensor 2 bank 1 – Inspected & found; Removed air filter housing to gain access to sensor and connector. Measured internal resistance n rear 02 sensor. Spec is 3.3 to 4.4 ohms. Had 0.80 ohms. Monitored activity via scan tool, found no activity. Heated 02 sensor should turn on for a few seconds when vehicle starts, but it was not turning on. – Found bulletin regarding programming being recommended when replacing rear 02 sensor and these codes. – Determined / Suspect; Faulty rear 02 sensor possibly related to vehicle needing updated programming. Suspect no relation to gas cap being left off and 02 sensor failure. – Recommends; Starting with replacing rear 02 sensor (sensor2 bank 1) & performing necessary programming/updates.

Eventually did hear a squealing/squelching type noise / L5. – Inspected for dash/warning lights, found; Check engine light on – not related to this issue. – Scanned computer control modules & found; See previous diagnostics. – Inspected & found; Noise coming from front of vehicle. Had helper drive vehicle in air on lift. Found the center support bearing in the rear driveline making noise / L5. Found bearing does not have play. – Determined / Suspect; Internal bearing failure of center support bearing. – Recommends; Removing rear driveline, then replace center support bearing.
    • Technician removed lower cross member to access rear driveline. Removed rear drive line. Separated front and rear section to access center support assembly. Replaced the center support bearing assembly. Reassembled and road tested vehicle. Verified repair. No further noises heard.

    • TECHNICIAN – Test drove vehicle, inspected operation & found; Felt a slight bump or downshift going into round about. Nothing concerning. Shifting as designed. – Inspected for dash/warning lights, found; none – Scanned computer control modules & found; No codes stored in any module. – Inspected & found; Raised vehicle in air. Inspected all cooler lines, axle seals and transmission for leaks. None found. Checked fluid level and found it is full. Fluid is clean and doesn't smell burnt. No indication of internal transmission issues. Checked spark plugs and found they are worn /L3-L4. This wear can cause a lean misfire under high load conditions which cause an excessive bump feeling if transmission is shifting at the same time. – Determined / Suspect; No issues found with transmission at this time. Spark plug wear may be causing issues intermittently. – Recommends; TO START; Engine tune up. Including spark plug replacement. If issue persists then a transmission fluid service may be needed.
    • TECHNICIAN – Inspected & found; Verified concern. Found the passenger side right front marker bulb is out/ not working. – Determined / Suspect; both front marker bulbs should be replaced. – Recommends; Replacing both front marker bulbs
    • TECHNICIAN INSPECTED AND FOUND: – LOF sticker shows next oil service is/was due at 51,523 miles. – Engine oil level & condition; full and clean – Front brake pads at approximately; 10mm – Rear brake pads at approximately; 8mm -Spark plugs worn L3-L4. -see diagnostic details.

    • TECHNICIAN – Vehicle would not start. Battery dead. Jumped with jump box. Performed short test drive. Vehicle drove well. – Inspected for dash/warning lights, found; TPMS, VCS, Cruise, and rear tail gate open, lights on on dash. – Scanned computer control modules & found; No codes. Note: Battery was dead which will erase codes. – Inspected & found; Driver door master window switch popped out, not installed properly. Lifted out door panel to access wiring. Found 30+ wires have been cut and reconnected. Checked power and grounds. Found pin 11 should have 12.5 volts but only had 1.5 volts. Found ground wire at pin 2 has 14 volts, should be zero volts. Both power and ground come from the fuse block/junction box, body module under the dash. Followed wiring harness. Found multiple crimped and broken wires. Tested window switch and found it is internally faulty. – Note: The turn signal, window and tailgate closed switch are not directly linked. There are multiple body modules and each appears to be on a different one. – Determined / Suspect; Faulty wiring harness. Bad window switch on driver door. Possible bad junction/fuse box. Possible bad module/modules. – Recommends; Taking to an electric specialty shop.

No sticker found indicating timing belt has been changed. Due every 90K. Recommend checking records. If due recommend changing. **Further Damage Possible** – Serpentine belt has multiple cracks / L4 = Past due. Recommend replacing serpentine belt. **Further Damage Possible** – Battery was dead upon arrival. Had to jump to start. Battery fails load test. Recommend replacing battery. **FURTHER DAMAGE POSSIBLE** – Cabin air filter dirty and full of debris / L4 = Past due. Recommend replacing cabin air filter. **Further Damage Possible** – Brake fluid dark / L3 = Due. Recommend performing brake fluid service. – Power steering pump leaking power steering fluid / L4. Fluid level low in reservoir. Recommend replacing power steering pump. Note: If not performing repair recommend keeping fluid topped off.

No concerns found. – Inspected for dash/warning lights, found; None found. – Scanned computer control modules & found; No codes. – Inspected & found; Drove a couple of times on a few different streets. Found new pavement and tested. Held steering wheel level and let go, drove straight, no pulling or drifting for over 50 yards. Found pulling left on right while driving on 3rd street which has ruts. – Inspected vehicle in shop. Found all suspension and undercarriage components tight. Found the rear tire tread is low with abnormal low tread in center. Outer tread on rear tires is approximately 5/32, rear center tread is approximately 4/32. Front tire tread is approximately 7/32. Note. Recommendations is for best tires to be at the rear of the vehicle. – Determined / Suspect; Low tread in center of rear tires may be contributing to issues. – Recommends; Taking to tire shop, possible replacement of worn tires to fix issue.
