- Technician performed oil service: Drained engine oil, installed new high mileage oil filter and filled with premium synthetic engine oil. Cleaned affected area. Performed courtesy vehicle inspection. Road tested. Verified service. No leaks. Installed next lof reminder sticker in window. Reset service reminder if applicable.
- TECHNICIAN – Test drove vehicle, inspected operation & found; Drove well. No concerns found. – Inspected for dash/warning lights, found; None found. – Scanned computer control modules & found; No codes. – Inspected & found; Drove a couple of times on a few different streets. Found new pavement and tested. Held steering wheel level and let go, drove straight, no pulling or drifting for over 50 yards. Found pulling left on right while driving on 3rd street which has ruts. – Inspected vehicle in shop. Found all suspension and undercarriage components tight. Found the rear tire tread is low with abnormal low tread in center. Outer tread on rear tires is approximately 5/32, rear center tread is approximately 4/32. Front tire tread is approximately 7/32. Note. Recommendations is for best tires to be at the rear of the vehicle. – Determined / Suspect; Low tread in center of rear tires may be contributing to issues. – Recommends; Taking to tire shop, possible replacement of worn tires to fix issue.
- – Inspected & found per Mitchell 1 Maintenance Guide; 30K Service = LOF w/standard inspections. 40K Service = LOF, replace engine air filter, replace cabin air filter, perform brake fluid service w/standard inspections. NOTE: Spark plugs show due at 60K.
- TECHNICIAN INSPECTED AND FOUND: – No LOF sticker found. – Maintenance due message on on dash. – Engine oil level & condition; Full. Dark / L3 = Due. – Front brake pads at approximately; 7mm. – Rear brake pads at approximately; 5mm. Note: minimum spec for brake pads is 3-4mm. Rear brake pads and rotors may be due soon. – Scanned computer control module and found; No codes. – Vehicle is equipped with a timing belt. Timing belt replacement shows due at 150K, based on Mitchell 1 maintenance guide.
