No external leaks found. Tested the radiator cap, cap failed pressure test, tested system with a good cap, vehicle still overheating. Tested radiator with temp gun and found normal temperatures with variance of approximately 25 degrees from right to left side. Confirmed the motor cooling fan working well and as designed. Performed combustion chamber leak test, test passed. Confirmed that the water pump is working properly. Removed thermostat and inspected operation and found spring was off center and blocking the thermostat holding the thermostat in the closed position. And found jiggle valve also held in closed position with no bypass flow. – Determined / Suspect; Faulty thermostat, compromised sensor and worn out radiator cap. – Recommends; Starting with replacing thermostat with housing, coolant temp sensor and radiator cap and then re-test to see if there are any further concerns. ***FURTHER DAMAGE POSSIBLE***

TECHNICIAN – Test drove vehicle, inspected operation & found; Vehicle drove well. "Low oil pressure" warning came on during test drive. No ticking noises heard. Oil pressure gauge went to zero. Cycled key and pressure went back to 30-40 psi. Issue only happened once during test drive. – Inspected for dash/warning lights, found; Check engine light. – Scanned computer control modules & found codes; ECM/PCM **P0521 for engine oil pressure sensor performance (current) – Inspected & found; Performed fault tracing as outlined related to code. Removed oil pressure sensor & screen, found screen has debris / L2 – L3. Verified connector on sensor good. Jumped grey wire to tan/ black wire and found scan tool showing 90 psi. Verified circuit was good. Fault tracing shows first step related to this issue would be to start by replacing the oil pressure sensor and screen, based on findings. Then if issue returns/persists then fault tracing indicates the next step is to replace the VLOM Assembly (valve lift oil manifold). – Note: VLOM assembly is known to leak oil pressure internally into engine assembly – Recommends; Starting with replacing the oil pressure sending unit/sensor and screen. Then retesting. If issue persists then the next step is to replace the VLOM assembly. ***FURTHER DAMAGE POSSIBLE***

Right front wheel sensor looks fairly new. – Inspected & found Monitored fuel trim data via scan tool. Found long term readings at lowest limit at -10. Short term switching between -5 and +3. Found MAF air flow sensor reading at 8 grams per second. (Spec 5-7) Found very large rat nest in air filter housing /L5 under air filter. Found MAF sensor is very dirty /L3. Found throttle bode is very dirty /L4-/L5. No vacuum leaks found. No exhaust leaks found. – Determined a restricted air flow through the maf sensor can cause these codes. – Recommends cleaning out air filter housing, replace air filter, clean MAF sensor element and throttle body. Clear codes. Have customer drive and bring back if codes return.

Due for service. – Inspected exterior of transmission for leaks & damage, found; no transmission damage, no leaks coming from transmission fluid. Did find transmission cooler lines leaking (see inspection notes) – Determined; recommends moving forward with transmission service. Technician performed transmission service and inspection: – Removed transmission pan and drained transmission fluid. – Inspected transmission fluid condition, found; no concerns. Was dark and due for service. – Inspected transmission pan for concerns, found; no concerns. – Inspected transmission bands for adjustment needs – not applicable. – Cleaned transmission pan including magnet, installed new transmission pan gasket and transmission filter, reinstalled transmission pan, filled with synthetic transmission fluid. Inspected for leaks. Road tested vehicle. Verified Service. – Recommends performing next transmission service in approximately 30,000 miles.
TECHNICIAN INSPECTED AND FOUND: – No sticker found indicating next oil service interval. – Engine oil level & condition Full Dark brown /L3. – Front brake pads at approximately 55 % – Rear brake pads are drum brakes and not visible for inspection. – Scanned computer control module and found; No codes. – Found transmission cooler lines leaking /L3. Recommends replacing transmission cooler lines. – Rear differential fluid is dark brown /L2. Recommends performing rear differential service. – Front struts leaking /L3 and are bouncy/L2. Recommends replacing front struts and sending out for alignment. – Power steering pressure line leaking power steering fluid /L3. Recommends replacing power steering pressure line and topping of power steering fluid. – Found front tires are at 12/32 and rear tires are at 11/32. It is recommended that the tires with the best tread be put on rear. Recommends rotating tires or take to tire shop for rotation.
