Vehicle drove well. – Inspected for dash/warning lights, found; TPMS, VCS, Cruise, and rear tail gate open, lights on on dash. – Scanned computer control modules & found; No codes. Note: Battery was dead which will erase codes. – Inspected & found; Driver door master window switch popped out, not installed properly. Lifted out door panel to access wiring. Found 30+ wires have been cut and reconnected. Checked power and grounds. Found pin 11 should have 12.5 volts but only had 1.5 volts. Found ground wire at pin 2 has 14 volts, should be zero volts. Both power and ground come from the fuse block/junction box, body module under the dash. Followed wiring harness. Found multiple crimped and broken wires. Tested window switch and found it is internally faulty. – Note: The turn signal, window and tailgate closed switch are not directly linked. There are multiple body modules and each appears to be on a different one. – Determined / Suspect; Faulty wiring harness. Bad window switch on driver door. Possible bad junction/fuse box. Possible bad module/modules. – Recommends; Taking to an electric specialty shop.
