- Technician performed oil service: Drained engine oil, installed new high mileage oil filter and filled with premium synthetic engine oil. Cleaned affected area. Performed courtesy vehicle inspection. Road tested. Verified service. No leaks. Installed next lof reminder sticker in window. Reset service reminder if applicable.
- CUSTOMER REQUESTS THAT DIAGNOSTIC BE PERFORMED
- TECHNICIAN – Test drove vehicle, inspected operation & found; Vehicle drove well. Ac blowing cool air but not cold air. – Inspected for dash/warning lights, found; None. – Scanned computer control modules & found; No codes. – Inspected & found; A/c compressor running, but short cycling off and on. This indicates a low charge of freon/refridgerant. Recovered freon in system, had 0.3 lbs, system holds 1.12 lbs or approximately 17 oz. Charged system fully and added dye for diagnostics. Ran system and verified blowing cold to 39 degrees at center vent. Inspected with black light, found low side service valve leaking freon / L2-L3. – Determined / Suspect; Service valve leaking out freon. – Recommends; Starting with replacing both service valves and charging the system fully.
- TECHNICIAN – Test drove vehicle, inspected operation & found; Vehicle drove well, shifted well, cruise control working well. Alignment felt fine. Brakes were working well. No abnormal noises or issues found with driveability.
- TECHNICIAN INSPECTED AND FOUND: – LOF sticker shows next oil service is/was due at 74,055 miles. – Engine oil level & condition; Full. Dark / L3 = Due, prior to service. – Front brake pads at approximately; 7mm. – Rear brake pads at approximately; 7mm. – Brake fluid dark / L3 = Due. Recommend performing brake fluid service. – Battery date sticker; 02/22 indicting battery is approximately 2.5 years old. – Scanned computer control module and found; No codes. – Inspected spare tire and found; Tire appeared to be in good condition. Pressure was low at 29 psi. Adjusted to spec of 60 psi. – Found vehicle has studless snow tires. Recommend taking to tire shop and having changed to non snow tires as the snow tire compound tends to become excessively soft in high summer temperatures and may affect handling. ***Possible Safety Concern***
- Technician removed and replaced the service valves for the high side and the low side. Performed necessary ac service as outlined. Added leak tracer dye. Test drove. Tested ac operation. Found system blowing cold to 38 degrees. Inspected system and found no further leaks. Verified repair.
- Technician performed A/C Service: recovered refrigerant from system, pulled vacuum, checked system for leaks. Charged System. Tested system and Air Flow Temp. Test Drove and verified service repairs.
- Technician checked brake fluid for moisture and contamination. Inspected all hydraulic lines and hoses. Inspected calipers and wheel cylinders. Inspected master cylinder and cap. Flushed entire brake system including master cylinder, calipers and wheel cylinders until clean. Refilled system with brake fluid. Test drove and verified repair.
