- Technician performed oil service: Drained engine oil, installed new high mileage oil filter and filled with premium synthetic engine oil. Cleaned affected area. Performed courtesy vehicle inspection. Road tested. Verified service. No leaks. Installed next lof reminder sticker in window. Reset service reminder if applicable.
- TECHNICIAN INSPECTED AND FOUND: – LOF sticker shows next oil service is/was due at 110,070 miles. Past due by sticker. – Engine oil level & condition; Full. Brown / L3 = Due. Prior to oil service. – Front brake pads at approximately; 6mm. – Rear brake pads at approximately; 8mm. – Inspected for dash/warning lights, found; None. – Scanned computer control module and found; No codes. – Engine air filter dirty / L3 = Due. Recommend replacing engine air filter. – Transmission fluid dark / L3 = Due. Recommend performing transmission service. – Coolant level low, found coolant leaking at crossover pipe and hoses going to pipe / L3. Topped off coolant, added approximately 1 quart. Recommend replacing cross over pipe gaskets, hoses, necessary intake manifold gasket and coolant. Note: Ac service may be necessary with repair. Note: If not performing repair at this time recommend watching coolant level and keeping full. ***Further Damage Possible*** – On cold start up in am of second day, with very cold temperatures outside, serpentine belt was noisy/squeaking / L3. Sprayed belt with water and noise went away. Recommend replacing serpentine belt.
- Technician performed transmission service and inspection: – Drained transmission fluid. – Inspected transmission fluid condition, found; Fluid dark and dirty / L3 = Due. No concerning debris. – Filled with CVT transmission fluid. Inspected for leaks. Scanned control module. Road tested vehicle. Verified service. – Recommends; Performing transmission service again in approximately 50,000 to 75,000 miles or when due by condition.
- Technician removed air filter, cleaned out air box. Installed new air filter. Reassembled all components. Test drove. Verified repair.
- Technician removed and replaced serpentine/alternator belt. Test drove. Verified repair.
