    • TECHNICIAN – Test drove vehicle, inspected operation & found; No related drive ability issues. Did find reverse seemed slow to engage. Vehicle drove well. Ac blowing warm air. Heard rotational knocking type noise / L2 – L3 at idle and when driving, louder at idle. – Inspected for dash/warning lights, found; None related. – Scanned computer control modules & found; No codes. – Inspected & found; A/c compressor clutch not coming on. Via scan tool vverified pcm is commanding operation. Checked power through relay and fuses, found no issues. Checked connector, had 14 volts and good ground. Checked continuity in a/c clutch, found system/circuit open. Found a/c clutch burnt up. Inspected for noise, listened with stethoscope and found noise coming from a/c compressor / L4. With ac compressor failure suspect metal debris in system. Added test charge of freon. Found compressor would not activate. Unable to test for freon leaks as compressor would not turn on. – Note: It is slightly abnormal for the a/c compressor to be noisy given the type of failure. – Determined / Suspect; A/C compressor faulty and freon leaked out. Receiver drier damaged. – Recommends; Starting with replacing a/c compressor, reciever drier/ac kit, serpentine belt and performing necessary ac service. Then retesting for noise and freon leaks. Will advise if any further concerns are present.

Transmission shifted well during test drive. Seemed less severe once vehicle was warmed up. Note: This issue may be an early sign of transmission failure. Inspected transmission fluid, found full and good. Scanned for codes found no codes. Recommend watching transmission for concerns. – Wiper blades don't clear windshield well / L3. Recommend replacing windshield wiper blades. – Scanned computer control module and found; No related codes. -TPMS light on. Had multiple codes for wheel sensors.
