- CUSTOMER REQUESTS THAT DIAGNOSTIC BE PERFORMED
- TECHNICIAN – Test drove vehicle, inspected operation & found; Vehicle drove well. Shifting well. No concerns on test drive. – Inspected for dash/warning lights, found; None on at this time. – Scanned computer control modules & found; ECM ** P0700 Transmission control system request MIL TCM ** P0711 Transmission fluid temperature sensor. – Inspected & found; Monitored the transmission temperature via scan tool while driving. DRove 15 miles. Temp went up to 114 degrees and stayed. Did not get hot. Checked transmission fluid level and condition. Fluid is full and clean. No signs of overheating. Cleared code and road tested again. No codes returned. Checked for power and ground to transmission case connector. Verified power and ground. Next checked internal resistance for sensor. Found 35-40 OHms. All in spec. No issues found at this time. – Determined / Suspect; Will need to recheck if codes return. – Recommends; Customer bring back if codes or light comes back.
- TECHNICIAN INSPECTED AND FOUND: – No LOF sticker showing next oil service – Engine oil level & condition; Full and clean – Front brake pads at approximately; 8mm – Rear brake pads at approximately; 6mm
