Can hear a rattling sound from rear muffler area at stop lights / L4-L5. – Inspected for dash/warning lights, found; None. – Scanned computer control modules & found; No codes. – Inspected & found; With motor running in park, found rattle coming from rear muffler. raised vehicle in air. Found lots of small rocks jammed between heat shield and muffler. Cleaned out rocks. Confirmed that the noise is now gone. – Determined / Suspect; Rocks causing heat shield to rub against muffler causing noise.
- TECHNICIAN INSPECTED AND FOUND: – LOF sticker shows next oil service is/was due at 137,887 miles. – Engine oil level & condition; Full, clean. – Front brake pads at approximately; 10mm. – Rear brake pads at approximately; 8mm. – Inspected for dash/warning lights, found; None. – Scanned computer control module and found; No codes. – Spark plugs worn / L3-L4. Recommend performing an engine tune up that involves replacing spark plugs, cleaning the throttle body an cleaning fuel injection system. – Battery terminals corroded / L2. Recommend performing a battery terminal service. – Tires; Dot code (3021) Front tread 1/32, rear tread 1/32.
