- TECHNICIAN – Test drove vehicle, inspected operation & found; Vehicle drove well. Verified driver side low beam headlight comes on and off intermittently / L4 – Inspected for dash/warning lights, found; None. – Scanned computer control modules & found; No Codes. – Inspected & found; Removed under hood cover panel that goes over the headlights and radiator to gain access. Inspected bulb connector and performed wiggle test, no effect on intermittent issue indicating bulb or ballast is faulty. This bulb comes with ballast and bulb as one piece. – Determined / Suspect; Bulb assembly faulty / L4 – Recommends; Recommend removing front bumper to access and replace both low beam bulb assemblies.
- TECHNICIAN INSPECTED AND FOUND: – LOF sticker shows next oil service is/was due at 108,598 miles. – Engine oil level & condition; Full, light brown / L1-L2 – Front brake pads at approximately; 7mm. – Rear brake pads at approximately; 4mm, 30%. Rotors have hot spots / L2. Recommend replacing rear brake pads and rotors. – Inspected for dash/warning lights, found; None. – Scanned computer control module and found; No Codes.
- Technician removed both front wheel liners, wheels and upper radiator cover go gain access. Verified drivers side bulb was bad and the passenger side looks worn / L4-L5. Removed and replaced both front xenon bulbs. Inspected wiring on headlamps with no issues found. Re installed all component, test drove and verified repairs.
