- TECHNICIAN – Test drove vehicle, inspected operation & found; Technician could smell coolant on test drive / L4. – Inspected for dash/warning lights, found; None. – Scanned computer control modules & found; **P0316 Misfire detected during start up. **P0722 Output shaft speed sensor circuit. **U0422 Invalid data received from body control module. – Inspected & found; Technician followed diagnose flow chart. Confirmed no short to ground on 5 volt signal on brown/green wire from transmission case connector to PCM. – Determined / Suspect; Faulty lead from in transmission. – Recommends; START WITH, Replacing lead flange. Must drop valve body.
- TECHNICIAN INSPECTED AND FOUND: – LOF sticker shows next oil service is/was due at 117,547 miles. – Engine oil level & condition; Full, light brown / L2. – Front brake pads at approximately; 8mm. – Rear brake pads at approximately; 6mm. – Heater hose to right side head leaking / L4. – Transfer case fluid; Full, dark red / L3. Recommend performing a drain and fill transfer case service. -Transmission fluid; Full, dark red / L3. Recommend performing a pan off transmission fluid service with new filter and gasket.
- Technician removed inlet hose and head pipe. Installed new hose pipe and o-ring. Filled vehicle with coolant. Performed cooling system bleed procedures. Test drove and verified repairs.
- Technician removed transmission pan, filter and valve body to gain access. Replaced lead frame and re assembled all components with new filter and pan gasket. Cleaned affected area, filled with ATF, test drove and verified repairs.
