- TECHNICIAN INSPECTED ALL VISIBLE COMPONENTS OF: Engine, Cooling System, Drive Train, Transmission, Brakes, Body, Suspension, Air Conditioning, Electrical and Exhaust System. Scanned computer for Fault Codes and Diagnostic Codes. Tested Cruise Control Function. Performed AC Test. Performed Battery Starting and Charging Test. Transmission – Test drove and verified correct shift points. Visibly inspected transmission fluid condition. Engine – Test drove and listened for noises and tested power. Visibly inspected engine oil condition. Timing belt – (when applicable) visibly inspected when possible and checked for date of last timing belt change. TECHNICIAN – Test drove vehicle, inspected operation & found; Vehicle drove well, shifted well. Cruise control works well. Found shimmy in steering wheel / L4 while braking, worse at higher speeds. – Inspected for dash/warning lights, found; None. – Scanned computer control modules & found; No codes. – LOF sticker shows next oil service due at 157,740 miles. – Engine oil level & condition; Full, light brown / L2. – Front brake pads at approximately; 8mm, rotors warped / L4-L5. Recommend replacing front brake pads and rotors. ***** POSSIBLE SAFETY CONCERN ***** – Rear brake pads at approximately; 8mm. – Inspected for tuneup / spark plug needs and found; Spark plugs / L2. – Inspected for timing belt and found; Replaced @125,064 12/21. – Inspected engine air filter and found; OK at this time. – Inspected cabin air filter and found; OK at this time. – Inspected all seat belts & latches for proper operation. – Inspected all exterior and interior door handles for proper operation. – Performed charging system test and found; Pass – Verified ac functions properly. OK at this time. – Verified cruise control functions properly. Pass – Verified 4×4 functions properly (if applicable). – Verified all lug nuts tightened to specs. – Verified tire pressure correct on all tires including spare tire. – Inspected tires and found; DOT code (1824) Front tread 11/32, rear tread at 11/32, Snow Tires. – Technician topped off window washer fluid. – Transmission fluid; Full, clean. – Right front side view mirror cover is missing. Mirror is cracked, motor works. Recommend body shop for further evaluation. – Front crankshaft seal has minor leak / L1. **Watch for leak
- Technician removed front wheels, unbolted calipers, cleaned, lubricated, and reinstalled caliper pins. Removed and replaced front brake pads and rotors, lubricated backing plates. Reassembled all components. Reinstalled all wheels, torqued all lug nuts. Road tested. Verified repair.
